Purpose: Development of student’s skills in the field of information technology, experimental research, organization of collective creative work, creation of websites, preparation of IT projects in the field of digital technologies. Organization of summer and winter IT -laboratories and IT-projects for gifted schoolchildren and students.
In 2019, in the competition of innovative ideas and startup projects "Jetisý - Startup", 1st year students of the specialty 6B01503 – Physics Bogdan Ali Serikovich and Beimbetova Medina Birzhanovna under the leadership of Sagadinova Aidana Nurlanovna and Kulyntaeva Assel Yerzhanovna took the 3rd place with the project "Smart-drone".
In August 2020, 2 teams of the faculty of Natural Sciences won grants in the amount of 1,000,000 tenge within the framework of the project for the development of the youth corps "Zhas Project".
Students of the 2nd year in the specialty "Physics", members of the students’ “IT club" Beimbetova Medina, Erentayeva Alina, Aitan Dinar developed the project “SMART ROBO”, the head of which is Meyrambek Adilet Meyrambekuly.
2-year doctoral student of the specialty "Mathematics" Yeseykyzy Aiym and tutor of the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science Tanabayeva Adema Mergenbaykyzy developed the project "ITEd", which is aimed at improving the digital literacy of teachers of secondary schools.
Bogdan Ali Serikovich won the regional competition of the best STARTUP projects "MENIN BASTAMAM" in the nomination "Best Project".
