The main activity of the department is the organization of methodical seminars at the university and national levels.  Teachers of the department actively participate in scientific and methodological seminars organized and conducted by international organizations and foreign embassies in Kazakhstan.  Thus, the priority of the department is the training of teachers, which contributes to the growth of pedagogical skills, improving the quality of foreign language teaching.  Teachers of the department receive international and national certificates.

The teaching staff of the department conducts classes for first-year students using innovative and interactive methods.  Teachers of the department regularly organize their activities in accordance with the development strategy of the university and modern requirements.  Uses advanced distance learning techniques in their lessons.  This contributes to the effectiveness of the educational process with the transition to an online education system and the combination of modern information technology, as well as the direct interaction of students with teachers.  The teaching staff of the department includes Google meet, Zoom, Google doc, Google presentation, Flipgrid, Padlet and others and  actively uses modern educational tools.
