April 22, 2023 teachers of the Russian Language and Literature Program Esimkulov B.N., Seralieva N.Zh. and Abaideldanova M.K. organized an excursion to the museum named after Sh.Ualikhanov for 2nd year students of the Eps Russian language and literature and Russian language and literature in schools with non-Russian language of instruction.
The memorial museum of the great ethnographer Shokan Ualikhanov is located in the Shanghai rural district of the Zhetisu region. The museum was opened in 1985 on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the birth of Sh. Ualikhanov, a few kilometers from the place of his burial.
Currently, the number of materials of museum significance is 1015 items, of which 757 items. constitutes the main fund. The Central State Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan donated books about the life and work of Sh. Ualikhanov to the museum. Copies of materials relating to the activities of our famous countryman were also transferred from the archives of Russia.
Thanks to this trip, students learned even more interesting facts from the life of a scientist, and the beauty of our fertile land left an indelible impression on students from Kyzyl-Orda.
