On April 20-21, 2023, the xvth Republican Subject Olympiad was held under the educational program 6B01201- “Preschool education and training” of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Teams of students from 13 higher educational institutions of the republic took part in the Olympiad: A. Zhubanov Regional University, Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University, Karaganda University named after A. Zhubanov. Academician E.A. Boketov, Otemisov West Kazakhstan University, International Kazakh-Turkish University named after Akhmet Yasavi’s skin, South Kazakhstan State Pedagogical University, East Kazakhstan University named after Sarsena Amanzholova, L.N. Eurasian National University Gumilyov, Kazakh National Women’s Pedagogical University, Kokshetau University named after Ch. Ualikhanov, “Shakarim University” Semipalatinsk, Kyzylorda University named after Korkyt Ata.
On April 20, 2023, the Olympiad was opened with a congratulatory speech by a member of the Board – Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Doctor of Philosophy (Phd), Associate Professor Baurzhan Rysbekovich Taubaev.
According to the program, the first day consisted of 2 stages.
The 1st stage is the presentation of teams called “We are educators of a new formation”, the 2nd stage is the competition of captains: solving pedagogical situations.
Then an excursion took place, where the guests were introduced to the material and technical base of the university, laboratories, library, university museum, swimming pool, etc., and also conducted a tour of the city. The first day of the Olympiad ended with a festive event at the student house.
April 21, 2023 – the second day of the Olympiad began with an “Intellectual Marathon” (a test on preschool pedagogy, child psychology, methods).
At the next stage – Game technologies in the learning process “Workshop in kindergarten”, which took place in kindergartens No. 8 “Kunshuak” and No. 11 “Kulinchak” of our city.
According to the results of the Olympiad, the 1st place was taken by the student team “Peaks of Knowledge” of the S. Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University.
2nd place was awarded to the “Children’s Voice” team of the L.N. Gumilev Eurasian National University and the “Scrabble” team of the Kazakh National Women’s Pedagogical University.
The team “Caravan of Knowledge” of the International Kazakh-Turkish University named after Khoja Akhmet Yasavi, the team “Kozaim” of the “Shakarim University” of Semipalatinsk, the team “Rukhty Aru” of the Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University took 3rd place.
Rectors of universities and heads of teams, members of the jury (representatives of preschool institutions) were awarded letters of thanks and valuable prizes in separate nominations.
We express our gratitude to the rector of the University, members of the Board, the department of the University trade union and the staff of the Higher School of Pedagogy and Psychology, who supported the xvth Republican subject Olympiad on the educational program “Preschool education and upbringing” at a high level.
