On April 25, 2023, the I. Zhansugurov University in Zhetysu hosted a unique literary-musical evening titled “Адамзаттың Абайы”, organized by the educational program in Foreign Languages and Translation Studies. The event showcased Abay’s songs and poems performed in Kazakh, English, Turkish, Korean, Chinese, and German languages, with the seventeenth word of edification presented in English. The dances of the various nationalities represented at the event added their own distinctive flair. A close connection was established between the performers and the audience, with questions asked and answered in different languages. The literary-musical evening was a great success, with significant spiritual and educational value for both the students who performed and the audience. Overall, it was a joyous celebration of the legacy of the great poet Abay.
