On November 24, 2023, an Open Day was held at the Higher School of Technical Sciences of the Ilyas Zhansugurov Zhetysu University. The event was held in academic buildings No. 2 of the University. The event was attended by more than 150 graduates of educational institutions of the city of Taldykorgan. The open day began with the greeting of schoolchildren, registration, distribution of booklets. The meeting was organized in order to provide applicants with complete information about the higher education institution and to provide professional assistance in making the right decisions. On the Open Day, the participants got acquainted with the university system. Including with the base of the Higher School of Technical Sciences, we received information on educational programs.
The students visited scientific laboratories, an IT center, a robotics and mechatronics laboratory, a gym, a boxing gym, a military department, a university swimming pool and special reading rooms.
During the presentation, information was given about the university’s educational programs, research projects, and opportunities for young people.
At the meeting, the students asked a number of questions about the choice of profession, admission and priorities of education at Zhetysu University. The questions were answered by the staff of the Higher School, active students. Future young applicants were able to see in practice the scientific potential of the Higher School of Technical Sciences.
