American Corner & Makerspace, in partnership with the US diplomatic mission in Kazakhstan, Chevron and the international technopark of the IT startup Astana Hub, held a hackathon called the InnoVenture Challenge from March 10 to 30, 2024. The purpose of the hackathon is to identify and support the most talented and creatively active youth, as well as the development of the IT industry in Kazakhstan.
120 projects were submitted across the Republic, and 22 passed to the final.
The team of the Deputy dean of the Higher School of Technical Sciences, M.A. Auelbek, successfully performed in the final. “NL Mobile Application” was prepared jointly by the Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University and Astana Medical University.
At the Astana Hub International Technopark in Astana, the team performed in the following composition:
1. Auyelbek M. A. (Zhetysu University named after I. Zhansugurov)
2. Yugay V.N. (Zhetysu University named after I. Zhansugurov)
3. Dyusenbaeva A.N. (Kazakh National Pedagogical University named after Abai)
4. Bigash S. M. (Astana Medical University).
The finalists were awarded certificates.
