A republican scientific and practical conference “Zhansugurov tagylymy” was held at Zhetysu University. The meeting began with a speech by the Chairman of the Board – Rector Yermek Buribayev.
The conference was attended by Deputy Head of the Department of Social Development of the Zhetysu region Ilyas Tustykbayev, Deputy Director General for Research of the Institute of History and Ethnology named after Sh. Ualikhanov, Candidate of Technical Sciences Shamek Tleubayev, Acting Associate Professor of the Kazakh National University named after Abay, Doctor of Philosophy Erlan Kasen, Ethics Commissioner of the Akim’s Office of the Zhetysu Region Gabit Tursynbay, an employee of the Zhetysu Regional Historical and Local History Museum named after. M. Tynyshbayuly Kalkaman Abdrakhmanuly, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities, Candidate of Historical Sciences. Participants included Yerzhan Bulanov, Candidate of Philological Sciences Sailau Kozhagulov, students, master’s and doctoral students.
During the conference, the spirit of Alash in the poetry of Ilyas, the linguacognitive nature of his works for children, the issues of the national liberation uprising of 1916 in Zhetysu, reflected in the poet’s work, as well as the concept of linguistic intelligence in the poem “Kulager” were widely discussed.
The conference continued with the work of sections. The participants of the event were awarded special certificates.
The materials of the scientific and practical conference will be published in a collection.
