On October 7–8, 2025, the Championship of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Cross-Country Athletics among all age categories was held in the city of Taldykorgan.
The event brought together around 300 athletes from 14 regions and 3 major cities of the country.
In a highly competitive race, students of the Faculty of Physical Education and Arts at Zhetysu University named after I. Zhansugurov — Zhanabek Yessenbol, Omar Aibol, Nurmamet Akbayan, Bolatbekkyzy Ayana, Kudaibergen Saniya, and Kunbolatkyzy Zhansaya — delivered outstanding performances and won prize places.
