Тhe Department of Scientometrics and Training of Scientific Personnel organized and conducted a scientific seminar entitled «Author Profile in the Scopus and Web of Science Databases».
The seminar was attended by faculty members and doctoral students of the university. The event addressed issues related to the management of author profiles in international scientometric databases, increasing the visibility of scientific publications, and optimizing citation indicators. The seminar speaker, Samal Beisenova, presented practice-oriented recommendations on the correct formation and maintenance of author profiles, as well as on enhancing publication visibility and citation metrics.
During the seminar, the Director of the Department of Science and Commercialization, Lazzat Karasholakova, highlighted the priority areas for the development of the university’s research activities and the commercialization of research outcomes, as well as measures to improve the quality of publications in international scientific databases. The seminar concluded with a discussion session, during which participants posed clarifying questions and engaged in a professional exchange of views.
