At Zhetysu University named after I. Zhansugurov, an intellectual game entitled “New Constitution: Renewal, Modernization, a Step into the Future” was organized to enhance the legal literacy of young people, foster civic responsibility, and promote the rule of law in society.
The main purpose of the event was to provide young people with a deeper understanding of the significance of the updated Constitution adopted through a nationwide referendum, to promote the values of the Basic Law, and to strengthen legal culture.
During the game, participants demonstrated their knowledge of the Constitution, the rule of law, human rights, and the principles of civil society.
The specially invited guests and members of the jury included:
– Serik Akanovich Smailov, Captain of Police, Head of the Public Safety Department of the Taldykorgan City Police Administration;
– Alibek Omirzakovich Izbasarov, Senior Operative Officer for Particularly Important Cases of the Department of Economic Investigations for Zhetisu Region of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Financial Monitoring, Lieutenant Colonel of the Economic Investigations Service;
– Didar Zhanatovich Tukanov, Private Bailiff of Zhetysu Region.
According to the results of the intellectual game “New Constitution: Renewal, Modernization, a Step into the Future,” the prize-winning places were distributed as follows:
1st place — the “Adal Urpaq” team of the Faculty of Pedagogy and Psychology;
2nd place — the “Zheti Zhargy” team of the Faculty of Humanities;
3rd place — the “ALASH” team of the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics.
