The International Taraz University named after Sherkhan Murtaza hosted the republican business startup competition “ÁREKET-2026” among school pupils, college students, and university students.
This year, the competition was held for the fourth time and brought together 20 teams that presented and defended their innovative projects. Young researchers competed in the categories of “IT and Social Projects” and “Production and Services,” showcasing their startup ideas and entrepreneurial initiatives.
According to the results of the competition, students of the “Enactus Zhetysu” team — Timur Bürkitbay, Karashash Abylkhan, Aiman Nurakhanova, Ilyas Zheksenbay, and Omar Sultan — won the honorary III place with their project “Algae.” In addition, the team received a Letter of Appreciation for the “Smart Ecolight” project.
