Honored Worker of Kazakhstan, sports journalist, writer, Master of Sports, referee of the highest national category, and Honored Coach of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Nesip Zhunisbayuly, visited Zhetysu University named after Ilyas Zhansugurov as a special guest. During the meeting organized by Rishad Turganbay, lecturer of the Department of Journalism, the writer met with future journalists and delivered an inspiring talk about his life journey, achievements in sports, and extensive experience in journalism. He particularly emphasized the role of sports journalism in society, highlighting the responsibility of delivering information truthfully and professionally. He also explained that this field requires constant dedication, research, and high professional skills. Speaking to the students, he shared insights into the intricacies of journalism and stressed the importance of discipline and perseverance in sports. He encouraged young people to work tirelessly for the development of national media and the advancement of Kazakh journalism. In addition, he shared valuable thoughts on the role of athletes and journalists in society and gave comprehensive answers to the questions asked by the students.
