A traditional Job Fair was held at the Zhetysu University named after Ilyas Zhansugurov. The large-scale event brought together more than 150 public and private institutions, organizations, enterprises, and representatives of law enforcement and security agencies. Among the participants were leading financial institutions, including Bank CenterCredit, Kaspi Bank, ForteBank, and Eurasian Bank.
The primary objective of the fair was to strengthen the connection between graduating students and the labor market, while facilitating employment opportunities aligned with their fields of study. During the event, employers presented information about available vacancies, conducted face-to-face interviews with prospective graduates, and outlined the qualifications and competencies sought in potential candidates. In addition, young professionals received guidance on labor legislation, career development pathways, and key employment requirements.
In the current academic year, nearly 1,300 students are expected to graduate from Zhetysu University across a wide range of academic programs. Of these, 519 students completed their studies under state-funded educational grants. The Job Fair provided graduates with a valuable platform to explore career opportunities, define their professional trajectories, and establish meaningful connections with prospective employers.
