On June 7, 2026, the Republic of Kazakhstan Men’s Half Marathon Championship and the international Astana Half Marathon were held in Astana.
Students of the Faculty of Physical Culture and Arts of Zhetysu University named after Ilyas Zhansugurov achieved outstanding results and won prize-winning places at these competitions.
Zhanabek Yesenbol won second place in the Republic of Kazakhstan Men’s Half Marathon Championship, earning the silver medal.
Tumarbekova Dagara claimed first place in the half marathon distance of the Astana Half Marathon, winning the gold medal.
These achievements are a clear reflection of our students’ hard work, dedication, and high level of athletic preparation. We sincerely congratulate our winners on their remarkable success and wish them continued victories, new achievements, and even greater accomplishments in future competitions.
