The library collection of Zhetysu University named after Ilyas Zhansugurov has been enriched with new publications. In support of the Head of State’s initiative to promote a culture of reading, the Director of the Zhetysu Regional Branch of Bank CenterCredit donated 80 copies of the novel Elen-Alan by the distinguished Kazakh writer Abish Kekilbayev to the University Library.
During the book handover ceremony, Bolat Seriev, Vice-Rector for Social Affairs and Youth Policy, expressed his sincere appreciation to the Bank’s team for their contribution to fostering a reading culture and encouraging young people to develop a lasting interest in books.
Such meaningful initiatives not only strengthen the University Library’s collection but also create valuable opportunities for students’ intellectual, cultural, and spiritual development, while deepening their understanding of Kazakhstan’s rich literary heritage.
