The Asian Junior Weightlifting Championships are currently taking place in Tashkent. Akhzhol Kurmanbek, a student of the Faculty of Physical Education and Arts at Zhetysu University named after I. Zhansugurov, took part in the competition in the 85 kg weight category. At the competition, Akhzhol Kurmanbek lifted 160 kg in the snatch and 198 kg in the clean and jerk, achieving a total result of 359 kg. We sincerely congratulate our student on his outstanding victory at the Asian Championships! We wish him continued success, new achievements, and the strength to reach the highest heights in his future competitions!
