From August 1 to 9, 2026, the World Jiu-Jitsu Championship was held in Abu Dhabi. At this prestigious international competition, Danagul Talgatkyzy, a student of the Faculty of Physical Education and Arts at I. Zhansugurov Zhetysu University, competed in the up to 70 kg weight category and won a bronze medal.
