From September 16 to 18, Zhetysu University named after I. Zhansugurov hosted a football tournament among students for the Chairman of the Board – Rector’s Cup.
A total of 108 students took part in the competition, representing five university faculties and the Zhansugurov College.
The traditional tournament aimed to promote a healthy lifestyle and football among students, enhance their individual sporting skills, strengthen friendly and sporting ties between faculties, and identify the most outstanding players.
Following the results of the competition, the Faculty of Law and Economics took first place, the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Technology finished second, and the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics placed third.
The winning teams were awarded the Chairman of the Board – Rector’s Cup and special certificates of recognition.
