On September 25, 2026, Zhetysu University named after Ilias Zhansugurov will host the methodological seminar “From the Regional Workforce Demand Map to Educational Solutions” within the framework of the “Mamandygym – Bolashagym” project.
The seminar will focus on discussing the region’s current and future workforce needs, aligning labour market demands with existing educational programmes, and developing specific educational solutions with the participation of universities, colleges, employers, and regional government authorities.
The seminar will bring together representatives of the National Center for Higher Education Development, government authorities of the Zhetysu Region, the Chamber of Entrepreneurs, technical and vocational education institutions, employers and industry associations, as well as university leadership, heads of departments, and educational programme developers.
