Young Researcher Participates in the AI & Digital Bridge 2026 International Forum

Raigul Zheldibayeva, Chair of the Council of Young Researchers at Zhetysu University named after I. Zhansugurov and Principal Investigator of research project AP25794537, “Artificial Intelligence as an Assistant in Academic English Language Acquisition among Non-Language Major Students: A Randomized Study,” participated in the AI & Digital Bridge 2026 international forum held in Astana on 2–3 October 2026.

AI & Digital Bridge is one of Eurasia’s leading technology forums and one of the largest events in the IT industry. The forum’s official programme was held from 1 to 3 October 2026 at the EXPO International Exhibition Centre in Astana.

The research project is being implemented under the grant funding programme for young researchers for 2025–2027 within the “Zhas Galym” programme of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

During the forum, Raigul Zheldibayeva attended two major sessions. The session “Responsible AI for Sustainable Development: Ethics, Trust, and Human-Centric Governance,” held as part of the track “AI for Society: Accessibility, Development, and Global Challenges,” addressed the ethical and responsible use of artificial intelligence, the development of public trust, and the advancement of human-centred governance principles.

At the session “The New Economy: Powered by AI,” technology and business leaders discussed how artificial intelligence is transforming the global economy and creating new opportunities for economic growth. The speakers highlighted the infrastructure, investment, human capital, and international cooperation required to build an AI-powered economy.

During the forum, Raigul Zheldibayeva participated in networking activities focused on the commercialisation of research outcomes, established professional contacts with startup representatives, and exchanged insights on key issues related to the project’s further development. She also learned about the activities of Kazakh AI Research University and explored potential areas for cooperation. Participation in the AI & Digital Bridge 2026 forum contributes to the practical implementation of the research project’s outcomes, expands opportunities for their commercialisation, and supports the development of new partnerships in the field of artificial intelligence in education.
