The Science Committee of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan has announced a competition for grant funding of research conducted by young scientists under the «Jas Galym» Project for 2027. The project implementation period is 36 months.
In accordance with the competition documentation, applications are accepted in the following research areas:
– climate resilience, water security, natural resources, and sustainable development of the agro-industrial complex;
– technological sovereignty and industrial competitiveness;
– health, human development, and quality of life;
– national security, defence, and the resilience of territories and critical infrastructure;
– fundamental research, scientific groundwork, and research capacity.
Applications will be accepted starting from 12 October 2026.
The application deadline is 10 November 2026, inclusive.
