April 24, 2026 from 11:20 to 12:15 in the main building of the University. I. Zhansugurov’s associate professor Shinybekova Ayzhan Sakhanovna organized a meeting-conference of deep content, rich in knowledge, entitled “One semester – one world. Possibilities provided by academic mobility”. Students of the group “KYAL-311” of the department of Kazakh language and literature of the Faculty of Humanities, who studied abroad under the program of academic mobility, as well as students of the groups “KYAL-211”, “KYAL-212” and “FK-211” took an active part in the event.
Students who studied under the academic mobility program spoke in detail about the essence and meaning of this program, its place and opportunities in student life. In concrete examples, students were shown that exchange of foreign experience plays a special role not only in professional terms, but also in personal development, broadening of horizons and formation of intercultural communication.
A significant contribution to increasing the content of the event was made by the support of the head of the department Kiyakhmetova Shary Asetkyzy. In addition, the scientific and informative meaning of the meeting was increased by teacher-mentor Tumbabayeva Madina Bolatkizy and candidate of philological sciences, teacher-mentor Turysbekova Asem Erikovna, thanks to their meaningful comments and deep thoughts. During the meeting, the students not only received reliable information about the advantages of academic mobility, selection stages, requirements and opportunities, but also received answers to their questions. A platform for free exchange of opinions was formed, students’ confidence and interest in the future increased. This event became not only an informational, but also a truly motivational platform for students. It determined their professional orientation and gave impetus to the desire for a global educational space. In the minds of the participants, an idea of great opportunities and a sense of responsibility, which are the basis of the concept “One semester – one world”, were clearly formed, which opened the way to new heights of their aspirations.
