





Students of the Zhetysu University named after Ilyas Zhansugurov have demonstrated outstanding results in national-level academic competitions, once again elevating the prestige of their institution.
Competing in intellectual contests across various fields, the students showcased their knowledge and skills, earning places among the top performers.
In particular, on April 23–24, at the Khoja Akhmet Yassawi International Kazakh-Turkish University, the XVIII Republican Biology Olympiad among university students of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held. The team representing the “Biology” educational program of Zhetysu University secured first place. Students Akbota Rysbek, Fariza Orazalinova, and Ziada Imanaliqyzy demonstrated a high level of professional competence in both theoretical and practical stages of the competition. Their academic supervisor was PhD Danagul Mukasheva, Head of the Department of Natural Sciences.
Additionally, at the Turan University, during the Republican Subject Olympiad in “Public Relations,” the “Golden Step” team from Zhetysu University also won first place. The team members displayed exceptional cohesion and professional preparedness, enhancing the university’s reputation. Their academic supervisor was Bibigul Karimova.
Furthermore, in Kostanay, at the Akhmet Baitursynuly Kostanay Regional University, the XVIII Republican Student Olympiad in “Special Pedagogy” took place. Third-year students of the Faculty of Pedagogy and Psychology, Aizhan Myrzakhmetova and Zhanar Duysenbek, achieved second place.
Moreover, at the Kazakh National Women’s Pedagogical University, during the XII Republican competition “IQ ALAMAN – 2026,” students of the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics won third place. Competing as part of the “Justice” team, Madi Abdigalym, Kaysar Oirat, and Tilek Shayakhmet successfully defended their projects in the field of artificial intelligence, receiving high recognition.
At the same university, the XVII Republican Subject Olympiad was also held for the B002 group of educational programs — “Preschool Education and Upbringing.” Second-year students of the “6B01202 – Preschool Education (IP)” program — Aisymbat Amangeldina, Dilnaz Dosymbekova, Merey Dauletkhan, and Sara Kyzyrgaliyeva — secured third place. The team was guided academically and methodologically by lecturers of the Department of Teaching and Upbringing Methods: Assel Issatayeva, Maral Baidildanova, and Aiziya Abisheva.



The students demonstrated a high level of theoretical training, well-developed pedagogical and digital competencies, and the ability to effectively solve professionally oriented tasks.
These remarkable achievements clearly reflect that the university’s students not only receive a high-quality education but also develop comprehensively, mastering modern digital technologies and professional domains.
Such competitions and olympiads foster the creative potential of young people and provide significant opportunities for shaping competitive specialists.
