Innovative Projects by Zhetysu University Researchers Presented at ZHETYSU CREATIVE CULTURE in Astana
On August 15–16, 2026, Astana is hosting ZHETYSU CREATIVE CULTURE, a cultural and creative exhibition showcasing the cultural, creative, and innovative potential of the Zhetysu Region.
Among the participants is Zhalgas Akhmetov, PhD, Lecturer at the Department of Physics and Mathematics of Zhetysu University named after Ilyas Zhansugurov. At the exhibition, he is presenting innovative developments in environmentally friendly electric transport — electric motorcycles and electric bicycles.
The electric transport development project became a winner of the regional “Tauelsizdik Urpaktary” competition and received grant support. A team of young university researchers is working on creating economical, convenient, and environmentally friendly electric vehicles.
The presentation of scientific and technological developments at ZHETYSU CREATIVE CULTURE demonstrates that the creative potential of Zhetysu today brings together culture, education, science, engineering, and modern technologies.
The exhibition, held in Astana on August 15–16, 2026, introduces residents and visitors of the capital to the achievements, traditions, and contemporary initiatives of the Zhetysu Region.
