Zhetysu University named after I. Zhansugurov hosted a festive evening, “Freshman Party: Zhetysu Style,” dedicated to welcoming first-year students into the university community.
During the ceremony, Chairman of the Board – Rector of Zhetysu University, Doctor of Law, Professor Ermek Buribayev, congratulated the students on the beginning of the new academic year and presented them with the university flag.
“Today is a special day for you. You have crossed the threshold of the university and are embarking on an exciting student journey. An important stage filled with great goals and new opportunities lies ahead. Gain knowledge, develop your abilities, and become qualified professionals. May your first step on the path to knowledge be successful!” said Ermek Abilayevich.
On behalf of the first-year students, Seitbek Nursultan and Kuandykova Ulbolsyn took the student oath.
The ceremony was attended by Amangeldy Esbay, Chairman of the Zhetysu Regional Branch of the “Adilet” Party, who addressed the students with words of encouragement.
“Young people are the bright future of our country. Being educated, active, and responsible citizens on the path toward building a just society is the responsibility of each and every one of you. During your student years, actively participate in public life and contribute to the development of the country!” the party chairman noted.
The festive evening continued with a concert program and a dance party.
