The Department of Legal Disciplines at Zhetysu University named after I. Zhansugurov organized an open court session for future lawyers in cooperation with the Taldykorgan City Court and the Republican Public Association “Zhanaru”.
Students of the “Jurisprudence,” “Law Enforcement,” and “International Law” educational programs took part in the open court session.
The key feature of the event was that students had the opportunity to become directly acquainted with court proceedings and observe the judicial process in practice.
Acting Chairman of the Taldykorgan City Court Alibek Abdikhayev attended the session and demonstrated the procedure for conducting a court hearing. The students observed the main stages of the proceedings and gained a deeper understanding of the duties and responsibilities of a judge during the administration of justice.
During the practical session, particular attention was given to the protection of human rights and freedoms, the fundamental principles of justice, judicial independence, and the procedure established by law for considering court cases. The event also addressed the protection of citizens’ rights and legitimate interests, the prevention of legal violations, and compliance with legal requirements.
The integration of theoretical knowledge with practical experience is particularly important in the training of legal professionals. In this regard, the open court session enabled students to connect the knowledge acquired in the classroom with real-life legal practice and gain a deeper understanding of how the judicial system operates.
The practical event not only contributed to the development of professional competencies among future lawyers, but also encouraged respect for the law, strengthened their legal culture, and fostered a sense of professional responsibility.
