














The Faculty of Physics and Mathematics hosted a regional round table entitled “Using Artificial Intelligence in the Classroom: From Idea to Practice.”
The event aimed to facilitate the exchange of experience in the effective use of artificial intelligence technologies in education, enhance teachers’ digital competencies, and strengthen professional cooperation between schools and higher education institutions.
The round table opened with welcoming remarks by T. Zhumagulov, PhD, Vice Rector for Digitalization and Strategic Development of the University, who highlighted the importance of digital transformation in education and the effective use of artificial intelligence. I. Esengabylov, Dean of the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics, emphasized the importance of sharing teaching practices and strengthening professional collaboration.
During the round table, participants addressed current issues related to integrating artificial intelligence into the educational process and presented practical experiences and teaching cases.
Participants discussed the question “Will artificial intelligence replace teachers, or will it become a pedagogical partner that expands their capabilities?” They also exchanged views on academic integrity, information reliability, and the responsible use of AI.
The event concluded with remarks by Zh. Zhiyembayev, Head of the Department of Computer Science and Digitalization of Education.
The speakers who actively participated in the round table and shared their practical experience were presented with Letters of Appreciation.
