On November 15, 2023, an Open Day was held at the Ilyas Zhansugurov Zhetysu University, organized by the Higher School of Pedagogy and Psychology. The open day began with the greeting of schoolchildren, registration, distribution of booklets. At the opening ceremony, the dean of the Higher School of Pedagogy and Psychology, Yerlan Khaimuldanov, thanked the guests and invited them to study. More than 100 future young students took part in the event. Purpose: wide familiarization of participants with the university system. Including with the base of the Higher School of Pedagogy and Psychology, providing information on educational programs.
High school students introduced students to their profession and shared their experience. In order to test the knowledge and arouse the interest of the participants, a quiz was held, prizes were awarded with the image of the university logo. We visited the laboratories of the Higher School of Pedagogy and Psychology, the scientific laboratories of the university, the library and the startup center. At the meeting, students asked a number of questions about the choice of profession, admission and priorities of education at Zhetysu University. The questions were answered by the staff of the Higher School.
