On November 22, 2023, the Educational Program of Foreign Languages and Translation Study at Zhetyssu University named after I. Zhansugurov, organized and conducted the Regional Olympiad “The Best Englishmen 2023” among students from general education schools, gymnasiums, lyceums, and secondary specialized educational institutions (colleges) in the city of Taldykorgan and the Zhetyssu region. A total of 115 students from 10th to 11th grades of general education schools, gymnasiums, lyceums, and secondary specialized educational institutions (colleges) participated in the competition. 31 participants who scored the highest marks advanced to the second round.
Participants who have qualified for the second round are requested to submit their videos to the email address zhgu.shetel.gumanitariya@mail.ru by the deadline of November 26, 2023.
Video requirements:
Duration of the video: 3 minutes;
The presentation should be in English;
The use of special tools in shooting and editing videos (overlaying background sounds, animations, special effects, filters, etc.) is prohibited;
Participation of third parties, other than the participant, in the video is not allowed.
The award ceremony for the competition winners will take place on November 30, 2023.
