On February 20, 2024, the head of the Department of Foreign Languages and Translation Studies Zhabykbaeva Dinara Maratovna, lecturer Turabai Guldana Keliskyzy and assistant teacher Omarbekova Gulzhan Muratkyzy held a seminar on the topic “Developing learning skills of English language: ICT competence”. During the seminar, the organizers shared with the teaching staff of the educational program their experience and knowledge in the field of using ICT in teaching foreign languages. The purpose of the seminar was to develop the professional competence of foreign language teachers through the use of modern information and communication technologies for teaching foreign languages, the use of modern ICT tools in foreign language lessons. Following the results of the seminar, the teaching staff of the Department of Foreign Languages and Translation Studies were awarded certificates for active participation.
