On April 19, 2024, an “Open Day” was held at the Higher School of Natural Sciences, Technical Sciences, Physical Culture and Art of the Zhetysu University named after I. Zhansugurov for graduates of educational organizations of the Zhetysu region. The event was held in the academic building No. 2 of the university, which was attended by about 200 students.
Work has been organized to provide applicants with complete information about the higher education institution, to provide professional assistance in choosing the right profession. On the Open Day, the participants got acquainted with the university system. During the event, an exhibition was organized, and image products were distributed to students. Also, an IT center, a laboratory of robotics and mechatronics, electronics and radioelectronics, a laboratory of optics, atomic and nuclear physics, a laboratory for monitoring chemistry, biology, a gym, a boxing gym, a military department, a university swimming pool and special reading rooms, etc. depending on the specifics of each profession, there were laboratories.
During the presentation, information was provided about the university’s educational programs, research projects, and opportunities for young people.
In general, about 700 students took part in the Open Day, which was held from April 16 to 19, students got acquainted with the university and formed a new approach.
