Today, at the Military Department of Zhetysu University named after Ilyas Zhansugurov, 135 students solemnly took the Military Oath.
During the ceremony, Chairman of the Board – Rector Yermek Boribaev congratulated the students on this significant milestone, emphasizing that military duty is a sacred obligation of every citizen to the Motherland.
“Taking the oath is not merely a formality, but a symbol of loyalty and devotion to one’s country,” the Rector stated.
In turn, the students expressed their gratitude to the university leadership and the instructors of the Military Department, noting that the institution has provided them not only with knowledge, but also instilled essential life values such as discipline, resilience, and responsibility.
The event strengthened the patriotic spirit of the young cadets, deepened their sense of responsibility and love for the Motherland, and reinforced their confidence in the future.
