“Taza Kazakhstan” – A Clean Environment, a Shared Responsibility
Today, the faculty and students of Zhetysu University actively took part in the nationwide community clean-up organized as part of the “Taza Kazakhstan” environmental campaign.
The main purpose of the clean-up was to maintain a clean environment, care for nature, foster environmental awareness, and encourage members of the community to contribute to the beautification and greening of their native land.
During the clean-up:
- the university grounds were cleared of litter;
- dry grass was collected and the surrounding area was tidied up;
- drainage ditches along the city streets were cleaned;
- efforts were made to improve the cleanliness and appearance of public spaces.
The joint participation of the university’s faculty and students in the clean-up demonstrated that creating a clean and comfortable environment is a shared responsibility.
During the event, the university’s trade union provided participants with hot baursaks and drinking water, offering support to those taking part in the clean-up.
“Taza Kazakhstan” is not simply a clean-up campaign. It is an important initiative aimed at promoting a responsible attitude towards the environment, strengthening public environmental awareness, and contributing to the beautification of communities.
Cleanliness starts with each of us!
