General Development Educational Program
The General Development Educational Program is a graduate program for educational programs:
Bachelor’s degree: 6B01402 – “Physical education and sports”,
6B01401 – “Initial military training”,
6B01408 – “Initial military training and physical education”
Master’s degree: 7M01401 “Physical culture and sports”.
Educational activities are carried out taking into account the needs of society and the labor market on the basis of modular educational programs that are coordinated with employers.
According to the educational programs of the bachelor’s and master’s degrees, the educational program of general development employs highly qualified teaching staff with extensive professional experience.
The educational program is taught by 10 teachers in basic and specialized disciplines of the educational program, including 3 candidates of pedagogical sciences – teachers-lecturers;
1 Candidate of Medical Sciences – Lecturer;
1 PhD Doctor;
5 masters – teachers-lecturers.
The educational program of general development carries out educational, scientific and methodological, educational and organizational work.
The educational activity of the OP is aimed at the implementation of educational programs for the training of highly qualified specialists in accordance with state standards of higher education.

The topics of theses and projects and their content correspond to the directions of scientific research carried out by the educational program.
The heads of theses are doctors of science, candidates of Science and experienced specialists in production. Critical reviews of theses are given by experienced specialists in the field of Education.
In accordance with the order of the Ministry of education and science of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated 20.04.2011 No. 152 “on approval of the rules for organizing the educational process on Credit Technology of education”, advisors were approved in the general educational program of general development. The group’s advisors conduct explanatory work on the selection of elective subjects, drawing up individual curricula for students, and also perform a guiding function for the educational program.
The main task of educational programs at the present stage is to train specialists who are able to respond non – standard, flexible and timely to the changes taking place in the world, educate them in the spirit of patriotism, friendship of the people of the Republic of Kazakhstan, respect for different cultures, traditions, customs, the formation of universal and socio-personal values.
The duration of full-time training is 4 years, training on the basis of the college (PC Dot) is 3 years.
The teaching staff of the general development educational program and students actively carry out research work in the areas of educational programs.
The teaching staff and students of the general development educational program carry out research work on the issues of improving military-patriotic, physical education in the context of modernization of Kazakhstan’s society; patriotic education of students by means of physical education, training of future teachers to work in a school with an updated content of Education.
Scientific articles of the teaching staff are published in scientific journals, collections of scientific conferences not only in the Republic of Kazakhstan, but also in Russia, Ukraine, the Czech Republic, Germany, Bulgaria and other scientific publications of foreign countries.
The teaching staff of the Department of general development is actively working in two areas of research work:
1. sports and patriotic education of students in the field of Physical Culture;
2.improvement of military-patriotic educational work in the context of modernization of Kazakhstan’s society.
To implement the results of the study, contracts were concluded with the state institution “Department of Physical Culture and sports of the Zhetysu region” and the state institution “Department of education of the Zhetysu region” for the implementation of research and development work “Regional specialized boarding school-College of the Olympic Reserve in Taldykorgan named after Zhaksylyk Ushkempirov” and the state institution “scientific and practical Center for Physical Culture, Sports, primary military training and additional education”.
In accordance with the schedule of academic mobility of teaching staff for the period from October 01 to October 30, 2020, within the framework of international cooperation, Ph. D., associate professor of South Ural State University Fedorov Alexander Ivanovich was invited to give lectures for classes in the specialties 5b010800 “Physical Culture and sports” of The Bachelor’s degree and 7m011401 “Physical Culture and sports” of the master’s degree (Chelyabinsk, Russia).
In the 2022-2023 academic year, in the disciplines “teaching technologies in vocational education in the field of Physical Culture and sports” and “scientific and practical foundations of theory and methodology of Physical Culture and sports”, a total of 90 hours 7m01401-1st year master’s program of Physical Culture and sports in a virtual format, Ph. D., associate professor of the federal state autonomous educational institution of higher education “South Ural State University” (Chelyabinsk, Russia) Fedorov Alexander Ivanovich lectured.
In the 2023-2024 academic year, as part of academic mobility, scientist A. I. Fedorov gave lectures and conducted practical classes for 2nd year undergraduates of the EP 7M01401 in the disciplines “technical means of ensuring the effectiveness of the educational process”, “training of world-class athletes (methodology, methods, innovations)”.
Academic mobility of students is carried out within the framework of Interuniversity agreements/agreements. Goals, objectives and general provisions for ensuring and implementing academic mobility of students in accordance with the basic principles of the Bologna declaration and academic policy.
The university defines a mechanism for recognizing learning outcomes mastered in the course of academic mobility, additional, formal and informal training. All recognition procedures are specified in the documentation within the University. After passing the training, the Office makes a procedure for recognizing the results of training on the basis of a transcript issued by the Registrar’S University, recalculates the mastered disciplines. Informing students of the EP about external and internal mobility programs is carried out on a regular basis by holding meetings with students and teaching staff at the GSM, providing information through mobility coordinators, posting information on the website, social networks.

The management of the University and the educational institution promotes the development of student mobility by financing expenses (transportation costs, medical insurance or accommodation), developing joint educational programs with foreign partner universities, attracting foreign scientists to improve the language competence of students and their theoretical training.
In the 2022-2023 academic year, 3rd year students of the educational program 6B01402 –Physical Culture and sports (DShK 312) Dinmukhamed Shalkarovich, Marlan Sultan Syrymovich from 16.01.2023 to 25.05.2023 studied at the Kazakh Academy of sports and tourism (Almaty) on the Eastern academic mobility.
In the 2022-2023 academic year, 2 students of the 3rd year of the Kazakh Academy of sports and tourism (Almaty) orynbay Abylai and Kalibay Bakhyt studied at Zhetysu university named after I. Zhansugurov in the incoming academic mobility program 6B01402 – Physical Culture and sports from 16.01.2023 to 25.05.2023.
The teaching staff of the educational program and students of educational programs take an active part in social and educational activities of the University, Taldykorgan, Zhetysu region.
There is a military-patriotic club of general development “Yerlik”, the head of which is a participant in the Afghan war, chairman of the organization of participants in the war in Afghanistan in Taldykorgan, holder of the order “Kurmet”, master Zhanabayev Kairat Temirgalievich. The club has its own charter. Members of the club hold patriotic events.
In different years, the teaching staff of the EP of general development was awarded public, departmental, and state awards.
Students take an active part in all events that take place at the level of the University, Higher School, educational program, as well as in student scientific and practical conferences.
The educational process is provided by methodological structures and a long-term plan of I. Zhansugurov Zhu. The results of the work are considered at meetings of the general development educational program, The Higher School Council, the Academic Council of the University. Students receive information about the events held and held through the stands, the university website, the university newspaper “Zhetysu University”.
In general, the organization of educational work is happy to implement program documents in the field of youth policy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Zhetysu university named after I. Zhansugurov is a member of the International Association of Universities of Physical Culture and sports.

In 2019, the team of Zhetysu State University named after I. Zhansugurov took the 3rd Prize-winning place following the results of the x Summer Universiade among universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The Universiade was held from April to June 2019 on the basis of higher educational institutions.
In the period from 2018 to 2022, many students became prize – winners of competitions at the International and national levels: in the 2018-2019 academic year-19 students, in the 2019-2020 academic year-19 students, in the 2020-2021 academic year-16 students, in the 2021-2022 academic year-21 students.
2021
– Sayan Kurmangaliyev, a 3rd year student of the Ministry of Physical Culture and Arts, took the 1st place at the championship of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the weight category 68 kg.
– 2nd year student of the Ministry of Physical Culture and arts Tanzharyk Moldir took the 1st place at the championship of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the weight category 57 kg according to the duo system
– 1st year student of the Ministry of Physical Culture and art Anel Kairatovna, who took the 1st place at the championship of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the weight category 65 kg.

– 1st year student Esmurat Maksat became the world champion in jiu-jitsu and took the first place in the weight category 46 kg.
– At the World Sambo Championship, students of the 3rd year of the Higher School of Physical Culture and arts Turusbekov Aslan took the first place in combat sambo in the weight category of 64 kg, Zharbulova Aidana took the third place in Sambo in the weight category of 59 kg.
