On April 3, 2024, the Zhetysu University named after I. Zhansugurov hosted a spiritual evening «Mukhamedzhan Tynyshbayev: Alash and the Nation», organized by the Higher School of Humanities. The event was timed to coincide with the 145th anniversary of the historical figure. The main goal is the civic and patriotic education of the younger generation and familiarization with the great deeds of national figures.
The event was attended by the president of the M. Tynyshbayev Foundation Nurshaken Zhunusovna, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, alasheved scientist Zhugenbayeva Gulbanu Salamadinovna, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Academy of Logistics and Transport Ashirbayev Galymzhan Kozhakhatovich. The moderator of the informative meeting was Board Member-Vice Rector for Youth Policy B. A. Seriev.
During the meeting, a video dedicated to the life of a historical figure was shown. In addition, the guests expressed valuable opinions on historical and national issues. Students and participants asked their questions and exchanged views on the historical role of M. Tynyshbayev. In the main part of the event, the film «Мұхамеджан Тынышбаев: Ғасыр жобасы» was presented, on the basis of which an open discussion took place. The end of the meeting continued with a festive performance, the guests were presented with memorable gifts.
