Students of Zhetysu University named after I. Zhansugurov participated in setting a Guinness World Records achievement.
On September 23, Astana hosted the HackAlem AI hackathon, bringing together 2,415 participants. Kazakhstan set a world record for the largest number of participants in an AI hackathon.
Zhetysu University named after I. Zhansugurov was represented by two student teams — ZhetysuTech and Ontogyz Team.
The teams were mentored by Bagdat Berikovich Serikov, a university lecturer.
The winners of the hackathon will be announced on September 29 during Demo Day.
