Social and educational work of the educational programs is carried out in accordance with the plan of educational work of ZhGU named after I. Zhansugurov.

Curators of academic groups conduct educational activities with students on the following modules: module of Patriotic and civic education, module of spiritual and moral, intellectual and aesthetic education, module of organizational, professional and corporate work, module of legal education, module of healthy lifestyle.  The educational programs carries out activities within the framework of the program ” “View to the future: modernization of public consciousness”. Academic groups take an active part in all activities of the University. These are subbotniks, sports events, sports Day and city Day, independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Nauryz, international Women’s day, Open day, Day of State symbols of Kazakhstan, etc.

Associate Professor of educational programs J. Omarov organized a round table on the theme: “Spiritual wealth”, which was attended by teachers of the Department of mathematics and students of MK – 411.

Much has been said about the principle of pragmatism in the spiritual revival of the nation and how to deal with wastefulness in the future. Speaking of losses, attention was focused on the problem of fresh water. Most of the water in the Zhetysu region is fresh. Therefore, it was said about the need for proper use, economical consumption of such water.

 Candidate of pedagogical Sciences, head of the educational programs Aldabergenova A. O. met with students of the hostel and held a round table on the theme: “the Value of moral and spiritual education.” The purpose of the meeting was the moral and spiritual education of the younger generation. During the round table, students came to a consensus that on the basis of spirituality formed character and behavior, develop conscience, self-esteem and moral qualities.

In the program of strategic development “Kazakhstan – 2030” Head of state N. Ah. Nazarbayev notes that  «The promotion of lifestyle is aimed at ensuring that each of us engaged in physical exercise, eat right, observe hygiene and sanitation measures, excluding from the use of drugs, cigarettes, alcohol, etc.». In this regard, the tournament was held on mini football among teachers and students of the faculty of physics and mathematics. The tournament was attended by teams of students of all courses and faculty staff. As a result of intense games 1st place was taken by 2nd year students, 2nd place – faculty staff, 3rd place – 3rd year students. The best teams and players were awarded with diplomas and valuable prizes. The purpose of this sports event was to establish friendly relations between students and teachers and promote a healthy lifestyle.

 The purpose of the clean-up: to attract students ‘ attention to solving problems of cleanliness and order in the University, as well as the education of labor and environmental culture.

 At the faculty of physics and mathematics in 304 audience was a curatorial hour on the topic: “We are against corruption”, organized by teachers of the Department of  MTM Omarov Zh. and Toybazarov D., .

The purpose of the curatorial hour is to deepen students ‘ knowledge about combating corruption, increase their responsibility to the law, find effective ways to instill the skills of organization and discipline, education of political literacy.

Teachers of the educational programs held a conversation with students on the prevention of corruption, the need for knowledge of the laws in everyday life, encouraged them to work honestly and conscientiously.

In the hostel № 2 senior lecturer of the educational programs Batrakova B. conducted educational work with her students on the topic: “No corruption!”. The purpose of the event – to raise awareness about the consequences of corruption, as well as to consider all possible ways to combat corruption.

 In the second case of ZhSU named after I. Zhansugurov, students of MK 211 and curator of senior lecturer of the Department of mathematics and MTM Bitrakova B.  has held curatorial hour on the theme of  “The University of Golden nest» program “Looking to the future: the modernization of social consciousness””. The purpose of the curatorial hour is to describe the spiritual revival and modernization of national values that stimulate Patriotic consciousness. Students prepared reports, presentation, shared their thoughts.      

Senior lecturer of the educational programs Eskendirov K. spent a curatorial hour with students of the 3rd year  on “Spiritual renewal – the basis of national identity.” The purpose of the curatorial hour: to teach students to love their Homeland, their country, to know the history of their people. Students prepared reports, abstracts on this topic, shared their thoughts.
