– in the period from 06/07/2022 to 06/17/2022 students of Issyk-Kul State University named after Kasym Tynystanov (Republic of Kyrgyzstan) Termenchikov Medet, Bukarbekova Ayperi, Yusupova Maria were trained during the summer semester in educational practice (plein air) of the educational program «Design» at the Higher School of Physical Culture and Art.

 – in 2019, a 3rd year student majoring in Design, Beisembayeva Marzhan, studied at the University of Lodz (Poland) for an academic semester);

– in the period from 02/01/2021 to 06/20/2021, 2nd year students of the educational program «Design» Barkytova Saltanat, Tokhtakhun Dilnaz, Sabazhan Bagdagul completed online training at Omsk State Technical University (Russian Federation);

– in the period from 08.02.2021 to 30.06.2021, 2nd year students of the educational program «Music Education» Lazgieva Elizaveta, Menshikova Evgeniya completed online training at the Yaroslavl State Pedagogical University named after K.D. Ushinsky (Russian Federation);

– in the period from 03/08/2021 to 07/02/2021, a 4th-year student majoring in Design, Beisembayeva Marzhan studied at the University of Lodz (Poland).

Social and educational activities

The educational programs of creative learning have created conditions for the personal development of students – self-determination and socialization of the student on the basis of socio-cultural, spiritual and moral values and socially accepted rules and norms of behavior in the interests of man, family, society and the state. Students’ creative activity is carried out through scientific, practical, and artistic creativity. Students actively participate in the social life of the university and receive ample opportunities for the formation of communicative abilities, self-expression and self-knowledge through creative, linguistic, sports, scientific and professional activities:

– On October 10, 2019, the action «Hurry up to do good!» was held at the KSU «Umit Day Care Center for Children with Disabilities» of the Department for the Coordination of Employment and Social Programs of the Almaty region. Students of the Creative Education Center organized a charity concert for children and employees of the center, an art exhibition of paintings and decorative and applied art products.

– On December 13, 2019, in honor of the celebration of the Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the theme «Tauelsizdigim – tiregim, Kazakstan – zhuregim», a concert «Zhetisu gasyrlar uni» was held at the ZHU named after I. Zhansugurov, which was organized and conducted by the Creative Training Center. All students and undergraduates of the OP “Musical Education” were involved in the concert program (student choir, orchestra of Kazakh folk instruments, solo and ensemble, vocal, instrumental and dance numbers).

– On March 03, 2020, an action was organized on the theme «Prevention of corruption actions!», at which students of the Creative Education Department exhibited their works in the form of posters (stands).

– On October 14, 2021, members of the student club «Sanaly urpak» organized the action «Zhetisu zhastary – zhemkorlykka karsymyz». The Sanaly Urpak Student Club carries out extensive work to instill in students such values as integrity, morality, honesty, fostering a sense of patriotism, awareness of the harm of corruption and bribery.

– On October 27, 2022, at the UZDIK art competition organized by Zhetysu University named after I. Zhansugurov, 3rd-year student Zhienbai Mahabbat won a Grand Prix and an award in the nomination «Playing an instrument», 2nd-year students Haidarkyzy Sabina and Karlyk Adilya were awarded Diplomas for 1st and 2nd place.

–  On April 12, 2022, the university hosted a round table «Student Science: the results of 2021» dedicated to Science Day. For active participation in research activities and achievement of high performance, 2nd year students Beibit Meyrbek and 4th year students Bayadilov Aybek were awarded letters of thanks from the Rector of ZHU.

– On May 28, 2022, volunteer students of the Creative Education Center within the framework of the 50th anniversary of Zhetysu University named after I. Zhansugurov held a «Helping Hand» action for children of the Ainalayyn orphanage in Taldykorgan, the purpose of which was to paint the wall with paints for children in a leisure and recreation camp in the village of Kokzhazyk in the Eskeldinsky district.

– On February 03, 2023, at the UZDIK art competition organized by Zhetysu University named after I. Zhansugurov, students of the OP «Musical Education» Zhienbai Mahabbat, Beibit Meiirbek, Nurzhanova Venus, Adilbekuly Daniyar were awarded letters of thanks from the Rector of ZHU for their active participation.

– On February 04, 2023, a charity event was held for a family in need, organized by a group of volunteers «Flame» with the support of students, teaching staff and staff of the Higher School of Physical Culture and Art. A resident of our city (a widow, mother of six children) was provided with a little financial assistance so that she would not lose hope for a good life.

To form moral values, develop the creative potential of students, events are held within the walls of the university under the program “Rukhani Zhangyru”:

– On November 22, 2021, an academic concert was held at the Creative Learning Center, organized by 3rd-year students Evgeniya Menshikova and Elizaveta Lazgieva, in order to introduce 2nd-year students to classical piano art in order to gain a new and positive experience. During the lecture, works by foreign composers of the XIX – XX centuries, arranged for the ensemble in four hands, were performed.

– On March 12, 2021, a student festival on the theme «Zhyr alyby – Zhambylym zhyrlaganda…» was successfully held, dedicated to the 175th anniversary of the birth of Zhambyl Zhabayev. The festival is organized by teachers, students and undergraduates of the Creative Education Department. The program of the event included the stage of aitys Zhambyl and Kulmambet, where the roles were performed by 2nd year students Beisenbayev Mauit and Sergazy Kuanysh. Kuis and songs by kuishi and composers of Kazakhstan were performed by students of 1-3 courses Gashkov Alexey, Togambaev Kurmet, Usenova Aizhan, Sabyrzhanova Akbota and 2nd year undergraduates Imasheva Moldir.  The poems of “Alatau” by 1st year students Kumisbekova Aruzhan, Kadyrbai Kamili, Tursynova Ayazhan were expressively read.

– On November 25, 2020, 2nd year student Bayadilov Aybek was awarded a diploma of the 2nd degree for participation in the nomination «Song performance» at the online competition «Our Unity in Harmony» of I. Zhansugurov Zhetysu University.

– On December 22, 2022, the song contest «Mukhtar Shakhanov-the master of poetry, in love with Kazakh melodies» was held as part of the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the birth of the poet M. Shakhanov.   The competition was attended by students of the 2nd and 3rd courses of the educational program «Music Education». They performed songs written by the author himself and in collaboration with popular composers of Kazakhstan Sh. Kaldayakov, N. Tlendiev, A. Beiseuov, E. Khasangaliev. Alexey Gashkov, a 3rd year student, performed a medley on the poet’s favorite themes of songs on the piano. According to the results of the competition, 3rd year student Sabyrzhanova Akbota took the first place with the song «I fell in love with you», 2nd year student Balabekova Aruna took the second place with the song «Baba Turkestan», 2nd year student Bebit Meyrbek took the third place with the song «Country of Love».

– On October 05, 2022, students of the 2-3 courses of the educational program «Musical Education» in the village of Balpyk bi of the Koksu district in the day care center «Umit» of the Department for the Coordination of employment and social programs of the Zhetysu region held a charity concert in order to provide spiritual support to children with disabilities.

Students of the educational program «Design» actively participate in various symposiums, competitions and festivals:

– in 2022, 2nd year student Rahim Askar participated in the Zhetysu Startup competition within the framework of I. Zhansugurov Zhetysu University, nomination «The best project in the field of Biotechnology 2022» (Certificate confirming the Incubation of Startup Orda with the support of AstanaHub and QazInnovation 2022);

– from 06/07/2022 to 06/17/2022 4th year students Kametzhan Farida and Khazenbai Zharhangul at the International Summer School-open-air «Palette of Zhetysu» dedicated to the 50th anniversary of Zhetysu University named after I.Zhansugurov;

– in 2023, the project «Sweet Rainbow» in the competition «Enactus Kazakhstan» & «Olzha Agro» final, took 4th place in Astana (Certificate confirming the status of a participant in the Business Forum from «Enactus Kazakhstan» in the team «Enactus Zhetysu University» Astana, Congress Center, 2023);

– in 2023, at the republican competition of business startup projects «Startup Bracket – 2023», which was held at the International Innovation Institute named after Sh. Murtaz (Taraz), students were awarded a Diploma of the II degree.

– in 2023, 3rd year student Rahim Askar participated in the International VI-Nobel Festival «Nobel-fest», Astana.

– 02/23/2023 2nd year student Kasymbekova Limara at the Cosplay Festival in Almaty;

– 06/09/2023 2nd year students Ordabai Amina and Sametova Arailym at the International Symposium dedicated to the 5th anniversary of the International University «Astana. Art. En Plein Air.» Astana.
